The Fortune Story.

Fortune 1621 wine is named after our ancestor Edouard Bompasse and the adventure of arriving in the new world in 1621. Edouard was one of 35 passengers to disembark the ship Fortune in 1621. The Fortune was the second ship to arrive in Plymouth following the Mayflower. We are proud to honor our family’s lineage through our Fortune 1621 wines.

The goal of Fortune 1621 is to create quality wines that are approachable for everyone. We believe that wine is meant to be enjoyed and shared with family and friends, and our Fortune 1621 wines undoubtedly convey this message. We want to show the bounty of Napa Valley wines and we aim to strike a balance between complex and approachable wines. Whether you are a seasoned wine enthusiast or just beginning to explore the world of wine, you are sure to find something to love about the Fortune 1621 wines! We highly suggest sharing a bottle at your next get together.
